We are pleased that you are interested in us and have applied, or are considering applying, for a position in our company. Below, we would like to provide you with information regarding the processing of your personal data in connection with your application.

Type of Data Processing:
The way your data is processed depends on the email address to which your application is sent.
Applications sent to the address bewerbung@haas.de are processed by us in compliance with GDPR.
Applications sent to other addresses are treated as business correspondence in the email system and are stored/archived accordingly.
What data do we process, and for what purposes?
We process the data you have sent us in connection with your application to assess your suitability for the position (or possibly other open positions within our company) and to conduct the application process.
On what legal basis is this processing conducted?
The primary legal basis for processing your personal data in this application process is Section 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). According to this, the processing of data is permissible when necessary for the decision to establish an employment relationship.
If data is required for legal purposes after the conclusion of the application process, data processing may take place on the basis of the requirements of Article 6 of the GDPR, especially to protect legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. In this case, our interest would be in asserting or defending claims.
How long is the data stored?
If an application is unsuccessful, applicant data will be deleted after six months.
In the event that you consent to further storage of your personal data, we will include your data in our applicant pool, where it will be deleted after two years.
If you are hired for a position as a result of the application process, your data from the applicant system will be transferred to our HR information system.
Who will receive the data?
We use a specialized software provider for the application process. This provider acts as a service provider for us and may, in the course of system maintenance and support, become aware of your personal data. We have entered into a data processing agreement with this provider to ensure that data processing is conducted lawfully.
After your application is received, your applicant data will be reviewed by our HR department. Suitable applications are then forwarded internally to the department heads responsible for the open position, and the subsequent process is coordinated. Within the company, only those individuals who need access to your data to properly conduct our application process have such access.
Where is the data processed?
The data is processed exclusively in data centers within the Federal Republic of Germany.
Your Rights as a “Data Subject”
You have the right to information about the personal data we process about you.
If an information request is not submitted in writing, we ask for your understanding that we may require proof of identity to verify that you are the individual you claim to be.
Additionally, you have the right to rectification or deletion, or to restriction of processing, as permitted by law.
You also have the right to object to processing within the framework of legal provisions. The same applies to a right to data portability.
